Frequently Asked Questions

The results graph is not displaying correctly.

Flash Player Dependency Notice

Currently, the Qwizdom charts and games are dependent on Adobe Flash Player, which will reach its official end-of-life support at the end of 2020. During Q4 2019 and 2020, we will be gradually removing our dependency on Flash Player and replacing our Flash-based charts and games with newer technology.

In the meantime, if you are experience a white screen or "missing plug-in" notice when using the graphs and games, the below steps will fix the issue.

Windows Users

If the results graph is not displaying correctly or at all, Adobe Flash Player is most likely not installed. It is also possible that a recent update of Flash Player has caused it to stop working – Adobe have multiple versions of Flash Player and you may no longer have the required version. Actionpoint requires the ActiveX version.

For the below steps, you must use Internet Explorer.

  1. Go to: https://get3.adobe.com/flashplayer/update/activex/
  2. Untick any additional offers that you do not wish to receive.
  3. Click “Update Now” and follow on-screen prompts.

Launch the presentation again, and the graphs should now display correctly.

Mac Users

Graph issues may be caused by an incompatibility with Adobe Flash Player when performing an OS X update. In addition, FlashPlayer version 32.0.0.255 and above no longer includes support for the 32-bit binaries used by our Mac software.

Step 1: Uninstall Adobe Flash Player if already installed

  1. Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Flash Player Install Manager
  2. Click "Uninstall"
  3. Click "Done" when the process has completed

Step 2: Install Flash Player

  1. Download the Flash Player version 32.0.0.238 archive
  2. Open the downloaded archive and run flashplayer32_0r0_238_mac.dmg
  3. Once installed, check "notify me of updates". Please Note: Installing any updates to Flash Player will break the Qwizdom charts again, and you will need to repeat this process.
  4. Ensure that you have closed Safari web browser if it is open.
  5. Your Qwizdom charts should now work.

Troubleshooting

If the Qwizdom charts still do not work, follow the below instructions.
